Playtime is one of a dog’s most anticipated times of the day, and a dog park is just the perfect place to let them run free, socialize with other pups, and enjoy some off-leash fun at Boise dog parks.

So if you’re searching for the best Boise dog parks to get your dog some exercise and fresh air, or even better, a place where you can meet other dog owners and socialize, keep on reading. I’ll share of the top dog parks Boise Idaho has to offer.

Ann Morrison Park

Ann Morrison Park is a pet friendly park to walk and play with your dog, really close to downtown Boise. This spacious park features a 5.4-acre site with swimming holes and even a fenced area for your pets to play around.

Although their off-leash hours are open from sunrise to sunset, during the winter months, the entire 153-acre park turns into an off-leash paradise! From November through February, dogs can roam freely throughout the entire park, making it an exciting seasonal treat for pups and their owners.

Castle Hills Park – Northwest Boise

Castle Hills Park is a great neighborhood spot for dog owners looking for a more relaxed and intimate setting. While it’s not a dedicated off-leash Boise dog park, it has open grassy areas where dogs can play on-leash, but they do have off-leash hours that starts from sunrise to 10am, and 4pm to sunset. You’re sure to have some good time in this 2.2-acre park with your pup!

Morris Hill Park – Boise Depot Bench

Located in Boise on the Bench, another quiet and dog-friendly spot is Morris Hill Park. There is a designated 1-acre of space for their dog park which is fully fenced and the best part is, if you have a smaller pup, they have a separate area for small dogs to play safely! This makes it an ideal spot for both big and little pups to run, socialize, and have fun without worry.

When it comes to their off leash hours, its from sunrise to sunset since they do have a fully enclosed area, making it a great option for dog owners looking for a safe and secure space for their pups to play.
