Jill Greising-Murschel

When it comes to making major life decisions, moving my family to a new city can be both thrilling and daunting. It’s a leap of faith, leaving behind the familiar and embracing the unknown. For me, that leap led me to a place that has exceeded all my expectations—Boise, Idaho. In this blog post, I want to share my personal journey and delve into the reasons why I don’t regret moving to Boise Idaho.

First, I want to introduce myself. My name is Jill Greising-Murschel and I’m married to Tony who founded Thrive in Boise. I’m a mother to four incredible children, a previous birth doula, a travel blogger, and now a real estate agent in Boise with an MS in Behavior Analysis. I guess you could say I’m a bit well-rounded in my skillset and experiences.

Why I Do NOT Regret Moving to Boise Idaho

As I reflect on the path that brought our family to Boise, I can’t help but marvel at the power of this incredible city. Boise, once considered a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, has emerged as a vibrant and thriving community that captures the hearts of both residents and visitors alike.

From the moment I arrived, I was immediately struck by Boise’s natural beauty. Nestled against the majestic backdrop of the Mountains and blessed with rivers, parks, and trails, this city is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Whether it’s hiking through among the foothills, kayaking or floating down the Boise River, or skiing in the nearby mountains at Bogus Basin, the opportunities for adventure and exploration seem endless.

But it’s not just the stunning surroundings that make Boise special. The people who call this place home have a warmth and friendliness that is truly unmatched. I quickly discovered a strong sense of community and a genuine spirit of kindness among the people who live here. From local Boise Farmer’s Markets to community events, it’s great. Neighbors become friends and strangers become allies. Everyone shares in the goal of making Boise an even better place to live.

One of the aspects that stands out most about Boise is its thriving economy. Despite its relatively small size, the city has experienced remarkable growth and has become a hub for entrepreneurship, innovation, and job opportunities across various industries. The presence of major companies, coupled with a supportive business environment, has fueled a big economic transformation while maintaining the charm and authenticity that makes Boise so unique.
